Would You Embrace a Pedophile Priest?

Me? If he was repentant and willing to face the consequences of his acts... yes. Unfortunately it's all too rare to meet such a person. I guess I still have some way to go before I meet the standard set for forgiveness as set by Christ himself which means like them, I am a work in progress.

How about you?

Would You Embrace a Pedophile Priest?

Comments

  1. In my childhood I have had the misfortune to encounter with several pedophiles who have hurt me ( some more , some less) profoundly. I'm not to sure if it is because of them that I received a special capacity to forgive. I can defend anybody who is not ready to forgive but whatever I do on their behalf is ALWAYS with the intent to bring to the same place of forgiveness. Weall need to be embraced and don't ever betray your brother or sister when they need you most. Betrayal is the crime.
